We provide the SW platform for radio products also known as the auxiliary control system (XCS) and is a Linux based control system. We offer a wide range of opportunities in a fast-moving, collaborative, and genuinely fun environment. The position is based in RU Software in Ottawa, and you’ll work closely with XCS teams across Sweden, Croatia, and China—learning every day while helping shape what we build next. We are now looking for an Operative Product Owner (OPO) to join the global XCS OPO function. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role: you will partner closely with an experienced, cross-site network of OPOs, product management, project management, HW design, and SW teams to keep your team’s backlog clear, current, and value-driven. You’ll articulate the “why” behind priorities, collaborate with the team to refine needs into well-shaped user stories, and help remove obstacles so the team can move fast and deliver with confidence. You’re expected to step forward, take ownership, and actively drive solutions—while being curious, collaborative, and ready to learn.
