We're looking for an Operations Trainer who can inspire, coach, and elevate our production teams—someone who thrives on turning complex processes into engaging, hands-on learning experiences and building a culture where people feel confident, capable, and proud of what they do. This is not your typical training role. You'll be right at the heart of our factory—on the shop floor, in the classroom, and behind the scenes designing impactful learning experiences. You'll deliver training that truly sticks. From machinery operation and production processes to safety, compliance, and onboarding, you'll play a key role in ensuring our teams perform at their best while upholding the highest standards. Working closely with our Learning & Development team, you'll continuously improve how we train, coach, and develop our people—helping us grow stronger, smarter, and safer every day. This is predominantly a NIGHT SHIFT role (10pm - 6am, Sunday-Thursday), with a requirement to work one set of day shifts (10am - 6pm Monday - Friday) once per month.
Job Responsibility
Delivering hands-on, practical training on the factory floor, building confidence in machinery operation and production processes
Leading engaging classroom sessions on SOPs, safety, and compliance standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.)
Coaching and mentoring team members in real-time, reinforcing learning where it matters most
Designing and improving training materials, including e-learning modules, SOPs, and presentations
Supporting training coordination—scheduling sessions, maintaining records, and tracking certifications via LMS
Monitoring progress, assessing performance, and providing clear, constructive feedback
Ensuring all training aligns with health & safety, food safety, and quality standards
Collaborating closely with the L&D Manager and Coordinator to align training with business goals
Driving continuous improvement by gathering feedback and enhancing training effectiveness
Supporting onboarding to ensure new starters feel confident, capable, and part of the team from day one
Requirements
Proven experience delivering training in a manufacturing or operational environment
Strong background in hands-on, practical training, especially machinery, production, and safety
Experience working within an L&D function or training team
Solid understanding of adult learning principles
A confident communicator who can engage people at all levels
Skilled at simplifying complex processes into clear, actionable learning
Highly organised with experience using Microsoft Office and training systems (LMS)
Ability to identify learning gaps and tailor training to individual needs
Proactive, adaptable, and passionate about continuous improvement
What we offer
Be part of a fast-growing, purpose-driven brand
Play a key role in shaping how we train and develop our people
Work in a dynamic, hands-on environment where no two days are the same
Make a real impact on safety, quality, and performance
Join a team that values energy, creativity, and doing things the PROPER way
