X-Bow Systems is a cutting-edge aerospace technology company revolutionizing the defense, government, and space industries. We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role is critical to ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products.
Job Responsibility:
Perform simple calculations to ensure process variables are accurately controlled
Follow detailed work instructions including standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering specifications, and engineering drawings
Handle and work with chemicals safely and effectively
Complete product documentation, including shop travelers, to ensure compliance and traceability
Assist engineers in design and development of production processes
Handle, produce, and manufacture energetic materials under the general direction of an engineer or supervisor. Energetic materials may include rocket motor components or assemblies, propellant samples, or bulk materials
Availability to work off-hour shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules
Able to work from elevated platforms and move 50 lbs of material without help
Able and willing to wear appropriate PPE such as company provided boots, coveralls, and respirators as needed
Requirements:
Experience reading and following SOPs and completing documentation
Familiarity with operating and monitoring production equipment
Basic computer skills and ability to communicate using a variety of digital platforms
Reliable and regular attendance
Ability to obtain a government issued security clearance as needed by the company
Ability to trouble shoot basic machine failures and provide feedback to maintenance groups
