Job Description

Purpose of the Job Implement the day-to-day express operations procedures and policies to ensure smooth flow of Operations in terms of receiving/processing of packages, on time delivery and system updating. Job Description Assist in managing the receiving process from ground couriers, ensuring adherence to standard procedures and quality audits. Oversee the processing of incoming packages, including weighing, coding, packing, and ensuring compliance with destination requirements. Monitor the input of packages into the system, ensuring accuracy in origin scanning, bagging, and manifesting. Support the monitoring and control of pre-alerting and bagging processes according to destination specifications. Implement and uphold necessary procedures to ensure compliance with quality audits and service standards. Act as a point of contact for customer service functions related to on-hold shipments, repacking, bad address management, and special requests. Address inquiries from internal and external customers promptly. Foster effective communication among team members and with internal and external stakeholders to streamline operations. Oversee the control and filing of all related paperwork, ensuring proper organization and adherence to record retention policies. Identify and report shipments containing illegal materials such as drugs, weapons, or restricted liquids, ensuring compliance with legal standards. Provide guidance and support to junior team members, assisting with training and development in operational procedures
