As Operations Support Officer, you will be heart of our operations - allocating and managing jobs for our skilled trade technicians, ensuring swift and effective responses across campus. You’ll also play a key part in issuing purchase orders, helping us deliver high-quality services efficiently and on budget. As part of the team that manages key services such as maintenance, security, cleaning, portering, and the post-room, you will be the first point of contact for day-to-day enquiries. You’ll help ensure service requests are efficiently logged, tracked, and followed up, while also supporting financial and administrative processes behind the scenes.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the first point of contact for maintenance, security, cleaning, and other services
Support the operation of helpdesk and job management systems
Provide administrative assistance for scheduling and resource prioritisation
Raise purchase orders, liaise with suppliers and maintain accurate procurement and financial records
Assist with contractor compliance and health and safety requirements
Requirements:
Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience in a helpdesk or customer-focused environment is desirable
Nice to have:
