Job Description

Due to continued business growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Operations Support Managers to join our team. Geographically, you will support the operations manager across their portfolio of sites.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage, inspire, and engage the teams
  • Understand, track, and manage the schools’ restaurant profit contribution to the business
  • Meet with clients and stakeholders to build effective relationships, gain trust, and drive our shared goal of feeding more students, better food
  • Managing and guiding the chef managers with the day-to-day running of the site
  • Building excellent client relationships

Requirements

  • Multisite management experience
  • A passion for food and service
  • Craft skills to support in the kitchen when needed
  • Managed at least 4 sites
  • A chef by trade and still be happy to be in the kitchen when needed
  • Comfortable conversing at all levels
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and highly organised
  • Understanding of how to prioritise effectively
  • Not afraid of the Office suite
  • A dab hand at producing spreadsheets and presentations

  • Collaborate with external vendors, internal teams, and clients to meet urgent needs, ensuring seamless communication and effective problem-solving during high-pressure scenarios
  • Coordinate and manage logistics, ensuring efficient scheduling of resources and critical supplies
  • Respond to client requests on short notice, often with minimal preparation time, to ensure the continuity of operations
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures and contract compliance
  • Evaluate and identify training needs, address gaps, and implement training programs
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing and accounts receivables/collections
  • Review, submit, and correct subcontractor invoices to Accounts Payable
  • Oversee job scheduling in WinTeam, maintain payroll accuracy and track subcontractor pay
  • Travel up to 25% of the time
