As an Operations Support Manager, you will provide day-to-day management of various operational sup-departments as well as working with the rest of the management team to drive results with operational flow for both warehouse and Dot Transportation, Inc (DTI).
Job Responsibility:
Hires/supervises our Inventory Control and Parcel departments
Coordinates monthly work schedules
Oversees personnel development, including evaluations and training plans
Develops, analyzes, and reinforces appropriate sub-department policies
Conducts monthly staff meetings and helps manage sub-committees
Budgets for various operational sub-departments
Maintains safe workplace actions/ conditions for self and co-workers
Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean tools and thinking to identify and eliminate waste
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Dot Foods’ experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
Aptitude for budget development and business analysis
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs
Nice to have:
Previous successful leadership experience
Ability to analyze and interpret statistical data
Ability to work with/incorporate changes quickly, efficiently, and accurately
Product integrity investigation and support experience
Willingness to pursue opportunities for ongoing education and acquire knowledge to increase skills
