Belden’s Operations Internship offers current students an opportunity to work on important business projects, collaborate with experienced managers and deliver real results for the organization. Over the course of twelve weeks, you will gain hands-on experience creating real business solutions while also developing project management skills, interpersonal skills, and field-specific knowledge.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct internal evaluation of supply chain processes and procedures and work to identify areas or methods for continued improvement
Communicate with existing or potential vendors to identify areas of opportunity
Review and complete plant manufacturing processes and assist in development of standardized processes or improved systems
Support various manufacturing development trials with our engineering teams
Requirements:
Passion – enthusiasm and excitement to take on new challenges, strive for continuous improvement, and drive results
Academic Achievement – pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study, and have completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework
Intellectual Curiosity – creative problem solving, critical thinking, a desire to learn and a questioning attitude
Other Skills to Foster Success – analytical, determined, detail-oriented, and adaptable with interest in taking initiative while demonstrating strong communication
