The Operations & Supply Chain Administrator / Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and data driven functioning of the organisation’s supply chain and operational processes. This role combines administrative precision with analytical capability, supporting day to day operations while identifying opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, inventory levels, and supplier documentation
Coordinate daily operational tasks, including order processing, logistics scheduling, and stock movements
Support cross functional teams with timely updates on order status, delivery timelines, and operational issues
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across the supply chain
Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods
Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and service levels, escalating issues when necessary
Assist in managing inventory replenishment, safety stock levels, and demand planning activities
Track inbound and outbound shipments, resolving delays or discrepancies
Analyse supply chain and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
Produce regular reports on KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, supplier performance, and logistics costs
Support forecasting, budgeting, and cost control initiatives through data driven insights
Use ERP or supply chain management systems to extract, validate, and interpret data
Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at streamlining workflows and reducing operational bottlenecks
Support implementation of new systems, tools, or processes across the supply chain
Recommend improvements to inventory management, workflows, and logistics processes
Requirements:
Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)
Experience with ERP or supply chain / carrier management systems
Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly
Good communication skills for working with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast paced environment
Nice to have:
Experience in supply chain, logistics or operations roles
Understanding of demand planning, inventory control, or procurement processes
Analytical or business related qualifications
