We are seeking an Operations Supervisor in the warehouse distribution center to oversee daily operations, manage our represented workforce team, manage inventory, ensure quality control, and supervise the receiving of inbound shipments. This team member must be able to rotate into first and second shift, given the business needs. This leadership role requires ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining the timeliness of shipments to our customers. Job Responsibility:
Demonstrates expertise in knowledge of the processes required to perform, and ensures they are effectively performing job responsibilities utilizing standardized methods
Motivates direct reports and/or business partners through effective communication, training, coaching, development, and recognition
Identifies opportunities for improvement using tools such as layered audits

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Must be willing to work 1st or 2nd as determined by business needs
Must be willing to work overtime (including weekends as needed)
Ability to develop, maintain, and analyze data
Organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Nice to have:
Previous supervisory experience in a union environment
3-5 years' experience supervising employees in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment
