General Summary Responsible for supervising work crews in Electrical, Fire Alarm & Extinguishing, Controls, and Facilities Systems Operations. May direct through lead employees in order to maximize productivity. Responsible for overseeing the work of J&J subcontractors that are working onsite.
Job Responsibility
Plans, organizes and monitors the scheduling, completion and documentation of Preventative and Corrective Maintenance
Supports and implements a comprehensive quality control plan for the J&J team and it's sub-contractors
Communicates with customers to build positive long term relationships that effectively supports healthcare services and maintenance
Plans and implements training of staff in various subjects to include safety, NFPA requirements, Joint Commission Standards and general trade needs
Promotes process improvement and ISO for the sustained delivery of excellence
Manages price estimates for all requests 'New Work' projects
Serves as the subject matter expert for the work force
Utilizes the assets of his staff to determine the best method to accomplish these projects and will create an accurate estimate for submission to the government representative
Ensures that all building files, drawings, and maintenance records are kept up-to-date and maintained as required
Leads the Union Work Force in a way to maximize their productivity
Requirements
3 Years experience
High School Diploma
Possess a broad knowledge of facility operations and maintenance
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with a Facility Computerized Maintenance Management System software (CMMS) highly desired
