The Procurement & Warehouse Operations department supports business execution by managing inventory procurement, central warehouse operations, and system accuracy. The team ensures materials and tools are available when needed, stored safely and efficiently, and managed in compliance with company processes, safety standards, and financial controls. The department partners closely with corporate, project, and site teams to deliver reliable service and operational support.
Job Responsibility:
Manage tooling and inventory procurement to support business and operational requirements
Work with corporate partners to maintain and update ticket systems and other data handling systems (SAP, etc)
Supervise staff ensuring all aspects of warehouse management are satisfied and meet established guidelines
Update Standard Operating Process (SOP) for central warehouse operation
Oversee daily operations to ensure: timely posting of all inventory transactions such as PR creation, IR creation, Receiving, and put aways
utilization of warehouse to achieve most efficient use of floor space
completion of monthly review and clean up for workflow and materials not put away
monthly audit to ensure PRs have been turned to POs & Workflow is monitored
ensure professional communication and feedback to customers without prompting
Accurate inventory accounting upon receipt from vendor
Ensure all tools are kept in compliance with safety and ISO standards for use
Collaborate with site/project staff on support requests
Maintain and support staff on all aspects of safety and awareness
Create tool utilization forecasts and budgets
Assist with management of budget
Oversee onsite inventory put aways, New order tracking, and new kit building
Requirements:
Associates degree required, BS preferred
applicable field knowledge may be seen in lieu of degree
OSHA 10 – OSHA 40 preferred
5 or more years of procurement and or warehouse experience
5 or more years’ experience in customer service
3 – 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with safety protocols
Material Handling Equipment experience preferred
Strong computer software, communication and organizational skills
Working knowledge of MS Office applications required
Driver’s license is required
