Job Description:

The Ops Sup Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Additionally, the Ops Sup Lead Analyst serves as the liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. The overall objective of this role is to provide support for day-to-day operations in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Job Responsibility:

  • serve as technical authority for an area within the business providing advice and counsel related to the technology, controls or operations of the business as well as provide operational assistance
  • perform analysis to define problems, develop innovative solutions, streamline operational processes and expand operations capabilities for new products and services
  • communicate regularly with all operations teams and departments
  • maintain knowledge of Citi’s operational procedures, best practices in business strategy and process/quality improvements in order to provide customized business solution recommendations to internal clients
  • analyze existing operational processes and apply creativity to complex situations, as needed
  • work with Citi Tech Architecture to support CEAM mappings
  • operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
  • act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
  • assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • 4+ years of relative control experience
  • experience in developing risk management programs, identifying all significant processes, risks, and assessing key controls and monitoring associated with these significant processes
  • self-motivated and detail oriented
  • proven organization and time management skills
  • demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have:
