As an Operations Supervisor, Assisted Autonomy, you’ll lead a team of Assisted Autonomy Operators responsible for supporting Kodiak’s autonomous trucking missions in real time. You’ll ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance while maintaining strong communication with Operations, Engineering, and Command Center teams. This role bridges frontline execution with strategic oversight — managing schedules, performance, and day-to-day operations while fostering a safety-first, data-driven culture. You’ll play a critical part in enabling Kodiak’s remote-assisted driving operations to scale effectively, reliably, and safely.

  • Coach and mentor operators on safety, communication, and SOP adherence
  • Administer corrective action and performance coaching in accordance with company policy
  • Participate in staffing processes including interviewing, extending offers, and exit discussions
  • Coordinate with Command Center, Maintenance, and Operations teams to resolve issues rapidly
  • Track key performance metrics such as uptime, schedule adherence, and incident rates, providing regular reports to management
  • Support onboarding and continuous training to ensure operator proficiency with evolving systems and procedures
  • Reinforce safety and compliance through audits, reviews, and real-time feedback
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, collaborating with Engineering or Ops leadership as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in operations, logistics, transportation, or fleet management (autonomous or tech-driven operations preferred)
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience managing shift-based teams in live operational settings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience enforcing SOPs and performance standards in high-compliance environments
  • Understanding of fleet operations, dispatch coordination, or remote operator workflows
  • CDL is not required, but experience in commercial driving or transportation operations is highly valued
  • Clear, confident communicator in both routine and high-pressure scenarios
  • Skilled at cross-functional coordination between Command Center, Maintenance, and Engineering teams
  • Leads by example, maintaining a calm, safety-first approach under pressure
  • Coaches and develops operators to perform consistently and drive continuous improvement
What we offer:
  • Competitive compensation package including equity and biannual bonuses
  • Excellent Medical, Dental, and Vision plans through Kaiser Permanente, Anthem, and Guardian (including a medical plan with infertility benefits)
  • Flexible PTO and generous parental leave policies
  • Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Life Insurance
  • Wellbeing Benefits - Headspace, One Medical, Gympass, Spring Health
  • Fidelity 401(k)
  • Commuter, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, HSA
