Robert Half is partnering with the with one of our top clients to identify a highly organized Operations Specialist to support day-to-day program operations and administrative functions within a fast-paced public housing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at coordinating processes, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting program staff to ensure efficient delivery of housing services across the county. The Operations Specialist will play a key role in maintaining operational workflows, supporting reporting requirements, and assisting with program tracking systems that support housing assistance initiatives.
Job Responsibility:
Provide operational and administrative support to housing program teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day program execution
Maintain and update program data, records, and internal tracking systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with housing program requirements
Coordinate documentation related to housing assistance programs, contracts, and participant records
Assist with reporting, data analysis, and preparation of operational summaries for leadership and program managers
Support cross-department communication and coordinate internal meetings, schedules, and follow-up actions
Monitor program workflows, identify process improvement opportunities, and assist with implementing operational efficiencies
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to program operations and direct requests to the appropriate department
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred
2–4 years of operations, program coordination, or administrative experience (public sector or housing programs preferred)
Experience working with databases or case management systems and maintaining detailed records
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
