This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs, and funding availability. We are seeking a Mid-level Operations Research / Systems Analyst (ORSA) to support Air Force and NSA cryptologic missions, delivering decision advantage through the application of quantitative analysis, intelligence tradecraft, and interdisciplinary methodologies. This position directly supports senior leadership by translating complex operational, cryptologic, and intelligence data into actionable insights for strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making.
Job Responsibility
Apply decision analytics, statistical analysis, data mining, and modeling & simulation techniques to address operational and planning challenges
Provide cryptologic analysis leveraging knowledge of Air Force airborne cryptologic operations, SIGINT resource management, and MAJCOM/NSA multi-INT capabilities
Develop analytic products that integrate multi-source intelligence and interdisciplinary methodologies
Structure and conduct analysis based on incomplete, complex, or indirect information, incorporating trends, patterns, and multiple analytic perspectives
Support long-term strategic planning of cryptologic operations and initiatives
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis, modeling, simulation, and assessment of complex systems
Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and performance indicators
Collaborate with analysts, planners, engineers, and subject matter experts across disciplines
Safeguard classified information and comply with all DoD, Air Force, and IC policies and procedures
Requirements
Advanced proficiency in operations research, systems analysis, or applied analytics methods
Understanding of ISR operations and intelligence cycles, SIGINT and multi-INT integration, and cyber and electronic warfare environments
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into clear, defensible conclusions
Experience in applying analytic methodologies, including trend analysis and multi-source integration
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level briefings
Demonstrated ability to perform independent analysis and contribute to team-based problem solving
Proficiency with standard analytic and productivity tools
Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and IC security and conduct standards
Ability to complete and maintain required training throughout contract performance
Availability to support CONUS and OCONUS missions as required
Responsible for maintaining qualifications and training unless Government-directed
TS/SCI eligibility with a favorable Tier 5 (T5) investigation
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field or a associate’s degree plus 4 additional years of expert-level experience (for a total of 10 years’ experience in lieu of a Master’s degree)
6 years of experience conducting operations research, intelligence analysis, or related analytic work with relevant experience (within the last 2 years) in defense, intelligence, ISR, or electromagnetic spectrum operations
Nice to have
Understanding of NSA and IC analytic frameworks
Prior experience supporting NSA or Air Force ISR operations
Experience with advanced analytics tools (Python, R, MATLAB, etc.)
Familiarity with intelligence or operational planning processes
Experience briefing senior military or civilian leaders
