Job Description

Compass Associates have been exclusively mandated to source an experienced Operations Quality Assessor for an organisation within the UK. Following significant investment and rapid expansion across the market, the group is looking to expand its quality function. This position is centred around independent quality assurance rather than operational turnaround. You will be responsible for conducting quality monitoring visits, identifying emerging risks, reviewing governance frameworks and producing professional reports that provide assurance and strategic insight to senior leadership. Reporting directly into the Senior Quality Manager, this autonomous role offers significant flexibility, allowing you to manage your own diary whilst travelling nationally to assess services.

Requirements

  • Experience within quality assurance, governance or compliance monitoring within elderly care
  • Previous experience conducting audits, inspections or quality assessments within care home settings
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
  • Excellent report writing, analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently whilst managing a national workload
  • Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a current NMC PIN

Nice to have

  • Previous experience within CQC or another regulatory body would be highly desirable
  • Corporate quality monitoring experience within a large care provider is advantageous
  • Experience with large providers is beneficial
