Job Responsibility:

  • Manages the directorate business planning process, ensuring plans are integrated with budgets
  • Plays a key role in the establishing and maintaining quality management across all directorate activity including developing an ethos of continuous improvement
  • Develop the directorates performance monitoring framework in support of our All for Cats strategy and the in-year quarterly performance reporting process
  • Advise and coach directorate colleagues to develop an understanding of planning and performance management approaches and best practice building senior capability and understanding in these areas
  • Work with Internal Communications to prepare progress and performance updates for various audiences

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role in a large organisation
  • Experience of working with Directors and Senior Managers to develop and align plans and performance measures
  • Significant experience of using and analysing complex information and translating it into clear and easy to understand formats, using a range of methods
  • Competent in using MS365 portfolio of applications including planning, reporting and analytical tools
  • Budget/financial management, ability to work closely with senior finance colleagues to integrate planning and budgeting
  • Previous experience in the charity sector
