We are looking for a motivated, fast-learning and dynamic individual to support the day-to-day operations of the BCI Branch in Uzbekistan, to deliver all daily operations and admin support for the rapidly expanding country office in Tashkent. The Operations Officer supports the effective running of the Branch by providing reliable administrative, logistical, and operational assistance. The post-holder will report directly to the Head of the BCI Branch in Uzbekistan and will also receive technical leadership and support from the Finance & Services function and the Operations team in a matrix reporting structure. Job Responsibility:
Ensure the Tashkent office is safe, clean, fully stocked, and fit for purpose
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to office operations, assets, travel, and procurement
Coordinate logistics for stakeholder events in Uzbekistan
Oversee travel arrangements for international visitors to Uzbekistan
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local suppliers
Support Branch team and Global Procurement team in procurement-related queries
Oversee and manage payments made through corporate card
Work closely with Branch team to ensure timely notification of events to Ministry of Justice
Support Finance Coordinator in preparation of annual reporting to Ministry of Justice
Requirements:
University degree, or equivalent higher education qualification, in a relevant field
At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
Ability to work independently and to take initiative
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to learn new things and apply existing skills to new contexts
Excellent organisational skills, capacity to multi-task and handle different priorities
Change Agility: responds to shifting needs and organisational change
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 package or evidence of quickly picking up IT programmes and systems
Proficient English (written and verbal)
Proficient in Uzbek/Russian
