Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join our team in a 100% back-office capacity. In this role, you will provide specialized operational support, executing a broad range of financial transactions and processing activities. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong financial background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for exposure to complex banking systems and growth opportunities within a major financial institution.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute and process specialized financial transactions (including Money Market and FX products) accurately and on time
  • Review high volumes of transactions, tracking productivity and ensuring all deliverables meet speed and efficiency standards
  • Adhere to internal regulations, enterprise frameworks (including AML and Business Continuity), and the Bank Code of Conduct while handling sensitive customer data with high levels of confidentiality
  • Identify opportunities to elevate service quality and provide ideas for process improvements to strengthen the operating model
  • Investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities, connecting with the appropriate internal partners to ensure resolution

Requirements

  • University undergraduate degree (required)
  • 5-7 years of overall professional experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (familiarity with macro processes is essential)
  • Strong command of the full MS Office Suite
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and global platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High level of business maturity and loyalty
  • Strong communication skills
  • A 'go-getter' attitude with a commitment to meeting strict deadlines

Nice to have

  • CPA designation or CSC financial background
  • Prior experience in a Trade Processing role with cash products like Loans, Deposits, Swaps, and Forwards
