Job Description:

The operations officer role provides a broad range of operational support and performs general to specialized transactions and/or other processing activities for own functional area within Operations & Technology. Supports partner relationships and is responsible for maintaining operational effectiveness to ensure business objectives, Service Level Goals and CEI targets are met.

Job Responsibility:

Provide operational support
Perform general to specialized transactions
Contribute to analysis/reporting on critical projects
Execute transactions accurately
Refer or escalate processing or operational issues
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery
Support partners with incoming transactions
Prioritize and manage own workload
Understand internal and industry regulations
Consistently exercise discretion
Support timely and accurate completion of business processes
Actively review internal processes
Investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities
Adhere to enterprise frameworks and methodologies
Be knowledgeable of and comply with Bank Code of Conduct
Receive requests for information
Perform data entry
Fetch information and send back to partners

Requirements:

1+ years banking experience
Familiar with banking products
Attention to detail
Time management skills
Ability to work under pressure
Able to meet SLAs
Tech savvy
Strong Data entry skills
Microsoft Office
Experience in Excel is an asset
Post-secondary degree
Preference for finance background/education
