Job Description

Ryanair is currently recruiting for an Operations Officer (12 month temp contract) to join Europe’s largest airline group! This is an excellent time to join Ryanair as we look to grow to over 800 aircraft and 300m guests within in the next 10 years. Based in our Head Office in Airside Business Park in Swords, the successful candidate will work in our Operations Control Centre. This is an excellent opportunity to join Europe’s leading airline and to gain experience in a busy working environment. This is a shift based position on a rotating ‘4 on / 4 off’ basis and would include night shifts. Successful candidates start with a package of €40,000 p/a plus an additional €6,000 annual performance based bonus. Package increases to after 1 year.

Job Responsibility

  • Developing and implementing solutions to day to day crewing problems
  • Assisting the Operations Controller with the development of efficient, cost effective solutions to operational disruptions
  • Monitoring of crew deployment to ensure all flights are crewed and that crew duties remain within company and legal limits
  • Compilation of reports as required
  • Monitoring movement messages
  • Preparation of operational paperwork for crews
  • Updating Jeppesen manuals
  • Updating Operations manuals
  • Any other duties as requested by Operations Control Management

Requirements

  • The ability to hold a Dublin Airport Airside ID
  • The ability to work and communicate effectively under pressure
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good interpersonal skills strong outgoing personality
  • A good telephone manner
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and Netline would be an advantage)
  • A full driving licence
