We are seeking seven highly professional and Bilingual (French/English) Operations Officers II to join the Credit Centre Adjudication team in Montréal. This role is essential to the Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) funding process, ensuring that all necessary information is captured and verified for timely mortgage and loan funding. This is a 6-month contract with strong potential for both extension and permanent conversion, offering a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within a leading financial institution.
Job Responsibility:
Funding Coordination: Process real estate secured lending files for funding, ensuring all regulatory and internal requirements are met
Information Procurement: Proactively request missing pieces of information or documentation from branch partners to avoid delays in the funding process
Partner Communication: Maintain professional relationships with branch partners through clear, active listening and effective communication to resolve issues and manage expectations
Problem Resolution: Use sound judgment and analytical skills to address operational challenges and customer concerns efficiently
Compliance & Accuracy: Maintain a high degree of attention to detail to ensure all files are accurate, compliant, and processed within strict SLAs
Team Collaboration: Actively support team goals and drive continuous improvement through an accountable and service-oriented mindset
Requirements:
Bilingualism: Full professional fluency in both French and English (written and verbal)
Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience (Operations, Customer Service, or Administrative)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on problem resolution
Proven track record of working effectively within a Service Level Agreement (SLA) environment
High emotional intelligence, empathy, and patience to deliver positive experiences in a fast-paced environment
Post-secondary education is required
Nice to have:
Previous experience in Banking, Accounting, or Bookkeeping
Prior knowledge of Mortgage or Real Estate lending processes
Experience in a "Back-office and Phone" hybrid environment
