Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join one of the UK’s largest and longest Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO) and Independent Gas Transporters (IGT). This company owns their own gas and electricity networks that have connected them to over 700,000 customers in the industrial, commercial and residential networks all across the UK. You will be responsible for coming up with improvements for the company as well as implementing these changes to improve the delivery of work to the clients. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for maintaining healthy relationships across the company as well as supporting the changes implemented. You will also be responsible for the Operations Team in which you will support and review their performances with the company’s policies and procedures in mind.

Job Responsibility

  • Implement changes that improve work production and the productivity of the company
  • Ensure asset management activities are recorded accurately and on time
  • Supervise and support the operations team to ensure SLA and KPI targets are met
  • Be the point of contact for customer complaints, escalations and queries
  • Collect, analyse and assess the performance data from your team

Requirements

  • Managerial experience, capable of producing management information and reports
  • Confident and professional communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Capable of developing staff through performance planning and training
  • An experienced approach to problem solving
  • A background within the multi-utilities or distribution industry (training will be provided)
  • Previous experience managing in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
  • Lean, Performance Excellence Knowledge
