The role is a supervisory role overseeing the engineering team and the day to day running of the drainage business. You will be the ‘go to’ person for any escalations, technical issues, project plans and larger scale works. The role requires someone with proven office management experience who is capable of organising and managing a very busy office.
Job Responsibility:
Day-to-day management of the office
Provide support to team members
Liaising with Engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and timelines
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to deadlines
Planning and scheduling works to be completed
Processing quotations
Assist the Branch manager with organising vehicle repairs and maintenance
Requirements:
Previous office management experience
Good understanding of Health and Safety
Willingness to complete SSSTS course, and possibly SMSTS
Ability to write detailed reports and documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confident and positive character, able to motivate a team
Able to build lasting working relationships across the board – within the Franchise and wider business
Role involves some on-call work (managing the phone some week days between 5 and 7pm and some weekends)
Able to commute to EX2 area
