We are looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee warehouse and distribution activities in Amelia Court House, Virginia. This role is responsible for driving efficient day-to-day execution, maintaining strong inventory control, and supporting excellent service for retail customers. Job Responsibility
Lead daily warehouse operations across receiving, order fulfillment, packing, and outbound shipping to ensure timely and accurate delivery
Monitor key performance indicators for operational output and team productivity, and use results to improve overall performance
Maintain precise inventory records by overseeing cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and strengthening control procedures
Plan labor coverage based on business volume, assign priorities effectively, and balance workloads across the team
Partner with cross-functional teams, including departments in New York, to address operational questions and resolve issues quickly
Evaluate existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical process enhancements that improve speed and accuracy
Provide clear verbal and written direction to employees, while coaching team members to support accountability and development
Use Microsoft Excel and Word to manage reporting, documentation, and operational communication
Promote an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment that supports consistent execution and service quality
Requirements
5+ years of experience in operations, warehouse leadership, logistics, or a closely related function
Proven ability to manage distribution or warehouse processes, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
Strong background in inventory accuracy, workforce planning, and operational reporting
Experience leading teams, setting expectations, and coaching employees in a fast-moving environment
Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and improve processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting, tracking, and communication
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple priorities
Familiarity with operations management, warehouse management, logistics, and purchase order processes
