Job Responsibility:
Play a key role in DC transition activities, including system testing, commissioning and the development of new SOPs and work instructions
Develop and implement processes and strategies to achieve operational excellence, with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency
Continuously improve our supply chain processes and performance, leveraging data and analytics to drive insights and inform decision-making
Build and develop a high-performing operations team, providing coaching and development opportunities to support their growth and success
Ensure consistent practices exist within the DC and across the Primary Connect network
Requirements:
Background in operational leadership within FMCG, distribution, retail or large-scale people management
A track record of leading and implementing change initiatives
Strong financial and business sense with the ability to manage complex operations effectively
Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean processing principles
Proven track record of delivering operational excellence in complex and matrixed organisation
Deep understanding of safety protocols and risk management, with a commitment to ensuring that safety is embedded in all aspects of operations
