Job Description

Lead a brand new site launch through commissioning and operational readiness; Build and mentor a high performing team from the ground up in a new facility; Eastern Creek location

Job Responsibility

  • Play a key role in DC transition activities, including system testing, commissioning and the development of new SOPs and work instructions
  • Develop and implement processes and strategies to achieve operational excellence, with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency
  • Continuously improve our supply chain processes and performance, leveraging data and analytics to drive insights and inform decision-making
  • Build and develop a high-performing operations team, providing coaching and development opportunities to support their growth and success
  • Ensure consistent practices exist within the DC and across the Primary Connect network

Requirements

  • Background in operational leadership within FMCG, distribution, retail or large-scale people management
  • A track record of leading and implementing change initiatives
  • Strong financial and business sense with the ability to manage complex operations effectively
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean processing principles
  • Proven track record of delivering operational excellence in complex and matrixed organisation
  • Deep understanding of safety protocols and risk management, with a commitment to ensuring that safety is embedded in all aspects of operations
