Operations Manager (Soft Services - Facility Management) for a reputable integrated facilities management firm specializing in professional cleaning, sanitization and pest control solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Assist the Head of Department in developing and implementing strategic operational plans
Lead and motivate the team to ensure departmental goals are fully aligned with company objectives
Take charge of end-to-end project management, resource planning, and client relations
Formulate contingency plans to ensure a consistent and stable labor supply
Implement and manage departmental policies and procedures to maximize efficiency
Monitor adherence to rules and regulations while identifying opportunities for process improvement
Strategically schedule manpower to maximize operational output within budget
Diligently monitor and control costs to optimize project profitability and reduce operational overhead
Analyze and resolve on-site issues with speed and accuracy
Proactively assess technical challenges and develop robust mitigation plans to minimize risk
Conduct random physical inspections across all sites to ensure service delivery meets scheduled standards
Discuss and implement measures to resolve gaps and continuously improve client relationships
Provide direction, coaching, and feedback to Assistant Operations Managers and Service Officers to foster a culture of continuous improvement and optimal efficiency
Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business or a related field
8-10 years of experience in facilities management (soft services), service operations or project management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AI tools
Demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement
Strong communication, leadership, and client management skills
