Operations Manager

• Oversee daily operational activities and monitor key resource levels
• Evaluate and plan for fluctuating operational demands
• Communicate effectively with leadership on operational status and priorities
• Strong experience leading a team to meet daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
• Foster a safe and compliant work environment
• Drive performance against established operational targets and metrics
• Participate in talent acquisition and team development efforts
• Guide and support team leaders to achieve operational excellence
• Report on key performance indicators and manage operational budgets
• Identify and support the implementation of operational improvements
• Ensure efficient flow of goods and other assigned tasks

• You have at least 5 years management experience in a large volume distribution center
• You have Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or Administration Bachelors degree
• You have proven experience leading a very busy team including direct and indirect reports
• Coaching, developing, disciplinary discussions, cross training and building report with employees are necessary skills you currently possess
• You have strong communication skills in both verbal and written with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build report with employees building a strong work culture
• Strong organization, decision making, delegating and project management skills are key to success
• You have strong computer skills: Experience with MS Office and WMS Software

If you have experience with a voice pick technology, that is nice to have
