Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional and innovative Operations Manager to join our dynamic 11-16 comprehensive school. As a key member of the leadership support structure, you will provide day-to-day leadership for all support functions, ensuring our school operates efficiently and safely to provide the best possible environment for student learning.

Job Responsibility

Line managing the Office Manager, Site Manager, Reprographics Technician, and Catering Manager
Designing and maintaining streamlined administrative systems
Overseeing the school estates function
Managing the daily cover for absent teachers
Acting as the school's Health & Safety Co-ordinator and Fire Officer
Monitoring onsite canteen contracts and overseeing reprographics and library systems
Serving as the Educational Visits Coordinator to approve and monitor school trips

Requirements

Proven experience in managing people, budgets, and Health & Safety
Excellent communication and IT skills
Ability to lead diverse teams and influence strategic decision-making
Hard-working and reliable individual committed to inclusion
Evidence of continuing professional development
Experience within an educational environment is desirable
Management or business degree (or equivalent) is highly desirable
