As our Operations Manager, you will hold a key role in professionalizing and scaling our Hardware procurement engine. This is a high-impact, strategic role where you will define how we buy, who we partner with, and how we optimize our infrastructure costs.
Job Responsibility:
Team Leadership: manage, mentor, and develop a team of two
Operational Performance & Scalability: own hardware availability, optimize lead times and production schedules
Strategic Hardware Sourcing & Negotiation: co-lead negotiations with primary hardware manufacturers, visit suppliers across Europe
Budgeting & Capital Allocation: lead preparation and management of hardware procurement budget, responsible for multi-million euro annual spend
Flagship Innovation Project: drive transversal launch of new energy storage and grid-edge solutions
Hardware TCO Strategy: develop and evolve Total Cost of Ownership model for Chargers
Systems Architecture & Governance: design operational blueprint for sourcing and deploying assets, build sourcing frameworks and automated workflows
Centralized Asset Oversight: reinforce centrally-led procurement model for core assets
Contract Oversight: oversee strategic supplier and charger contract management
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in operations consulting or similar high-stakes operations role in a fast-paced startup
Comfortable managing multi-million budgets
Degree in Engineering (highly preferred) or Business
Fluent in English (required)
Fluency in Portuguese and/or French being a significant advantage
Self-starter with hands-on capability to implement strategies from scratch
Analytical mindset comfortable with complex data and TCO modeling
