This role is vital in supporting the organization's mission to empower immigrant and refugee communities by overseeing daily operations, including finance, human resources, and technology systems. Job Responsibility:
Manage financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Utilize QuickBooks to oversee and optimize financial processes and reporting
Supervise and guide the Finance & Operations team, encouraging attention to detail and team cohesion
Oversee human resources functions to ensure compliance, employee satisfaction, and organizational alignment
Collaborate with leadership to implement and improve operational strategies and processes
Ensure the organization’s technology systems are secure, efficient, and meet operational needs
Actively participate in leadership meetings, contributing to team health and organizational goals
Uphold the organization’s core values, including accountability, integrity, and solidarity
Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement to enhance organizational performance
Serve as a key partner to the Director of Finance & Operations, offering strategic insights and support
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams
Familiarity with human resources practices and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

Experience with technology systems and their role in operational efficiency
