Job Description

Exciting Operations Manager Opportunity in Central Belt of Scotland. Looking for strong experienced site leaders! This is a permanent role within a well-established organisation in the FMCG industry. The company operates on a large scale and is committed to delivering high-quality products and services.

Job Responsibility

Lead and manage site operations to achieve optimal performance and productivity circa 50 heads
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Oversee maintenance and engineering activities to minimise downtime
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively
Provide leadership and guidance to the site team, fostering a strong work ethic
Ensure customer requirements are met through effective operational planning
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of Engineering & Manufacturing processes
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to manage budgets and meet operational targets
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
