Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Bangkok operations within the AI-driven industry. This role is integral to the success of our new AI projects, and maintain the current operations to be lean and efficient. The ideal candidate will be a fluent Thai speaker with strong English proficiency and possess a background in managing projects. They will need to have an entrepreneurship mindset and ready to learn on the job on new concepts, trends, and developments in AI for for business applications.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage multiple projects, and KPIs set by the client, ensuring successful project execution and budgeting
  • Produce monthly reports detailing activity, trend analysis, goals/objectives, and special projects
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in delivering AI-based services
  • Draft budget and provide insights, on growth, leaning, and optimization
  • Communicate daily with clients and stakeholders to align expectations and operational goals
  • Host internal and external business reviews to present operational performance, insights, and address concerns
  • Manage daily and monthly operating expenses within the proposed budget
  • Develop and maintain employee productivity goals in line with department standards
  • Coordinate with HR for strategic recruitment, training, development and optimization
  • Report to Local Partner and global stakeholders, including Head of Global Operations

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a project management environment and stakeholder management, along with leadership in managing a team of highly motivated individuals
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing a budget, financial planning, or operation of self-owned business
  • Fluent Thai speaker
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, HR Management, or a related field
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines

Nice to have:

  • Preferred candidates with proven track record in managing teams and complex projects within the AI or Tech Startup structure
  • Strong understanding or willingness to learn in the AI industry, including automation, data labelling, content moderation, and testing future processes
  • Familiarity with Thai regulations and standards in labor law
