Syntech Recruitment are working with a well-established manufacturing business to appoint an Operations Manager to take full ownership of site performance, team leadership, and operational delivery. This is a key leadership role with real influence over output, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Lead production, engineering, purchasing and logistics functions
Drive performance across output, quality, cost, and on-time delivery
Monitor and improve KPIs including scrap, downtime, and efficiency
Deliver continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Partner with senior leadership on strategy and commercial decisions
Develop and lead a multi-functional management team
Requirements:
Proven experience in a manufacturing leadership role (Operations / Production Manager)
Strong track record of delivering KPIs and performance improvements
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Commercial awareness and ability to influence at senior level
Background in lean / continuous improvement environments
