Lead the operations of a high-performing fire protection business where quality, safety, and pride in workmanship come first. This is a hands-on leadership role at the centre of how we deliver fire alarm and sprinkler projects across Auckland. You’ll take full ownership of planning, resourcing, and delivering work across installation, service, and maintenance, ensuring every job is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll lead field teams, coordinate multiple projects, and be accountable for overall performance across delivery. This is not a desk-only role, you’ll be in the field when needed and actively driving standards every day.
Job Responsibility:
Lead day-to-day delivery across field teams
Plan, schedule, and coordinate workloads
Ensure jobs are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
Oversee project delivery, tracking, and close-out
Manage job costing, reporting, and performance
Ensure compliance, certification, and documentation are completed
Support, lead, and develop technicians and supervisors
Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks
Maintain strong client relationships and manage escalations
Drive safety, quality, and accountability across all work
Monitor job costs, margins, and operational performance
Report on operational performance to senior leadership
Requirements:
5+ years’ experience in operations management ideally from fire protection or adjacent industry
Strong knowledge of fire alarm and sprinkler systems
Experience leading field-based teams and multiple projects
