We are seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to oversee our company’s daily activities, improve internal processes, and drive high-performance results. The ideal candidate will possess a sharp business mind, managing multiple departments to maximize productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
Job Responsibility:
Manage daily manufacturing operations balancing labor, materials, and machine capacity to hit output targets
Responsible for process optimization improving throughput, cycle time and yield
Ensure the accuracy of plant inventories
Direct, coordinate and supervise front line leadership, leads and operators
Enforce OSHA regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Analyze and improve operational workflows, policies, and procedures to boost efficiency and productivity
Supervise, hire, train, and provide performance feedback for employees, ensuring teams are motivated and effective
Implement and monitor quality assurance programs and ensure adherence to company standards and safety regulations
Develop and implement operational strategies to align daily tasks with long-term company goals
Liaise with other departments to achieve overall business objectives
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and resolve operational issues as they arise
Collaborate with senior leadership to set long-term goals and develop roadmaps for achieving them
Responsible for staffing models, overtime control and shift coverage
Processing high volume order fulfillment
Coordinate customer requests for corrective and preventive actions within the operations function
Responsible for understanding machine capabilities, downtime drivers, and preventative maintenance
Maintain operation of all plant and support equipment
Maintain operation of the clean room
Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow
Raw materials / warehouse management
Orders parts and equipment for the facility as necessary
Ensures compliance with any applicable local, state environmental guidelines
Communicating with outside agencies for safety and environmental purposes
Requirements:
AAS or 5 years minimum Manufacturing experience
Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills are required
Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and organization skills
