The Operations Manager for Uber Rides in Denmark is a critical role within our Northern Europe rides organization, working closely with the Country Manager in Denmark to drive Uber's growth and success in Denmark. You will be primarily responsible for executing and driving projects which promote driver and rider growth, satisfaction, and operational excellence in Denmark. This includes managing local operations, driver & rider growth initiatives, new product launches, problem-solving, process improvements, and finding efficiency levers, and ensuring Uber provides the most preferred service.
Job Responsibility:
Performance Monitoring & Forecasting: Continuously monitor and forecast platform performance using analytics. Deep-dive into reasons for underperformance, identify opportunities, and implement action plans for improvement.
Operational Efficiency & Automation: Identify areas to improve operational efficiency and strategically increase the automation of critical processes across the Denmark market.
Enhance Driver and Rider Satisfaction: Manage processes and engagements to ensure consistently high driver & rider satisfaction and a positive experience on the platform.
Root Cause Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of both risks and opportunities. Propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh trade-offs to recommend and implement the best approach.
Product Improvement & Collaboration: Proactively identify and search for new product features or improvements that can enhance the driver experience and increase marketplace efficiency. Measure the impact of these changes and collaborate with global Product teams for successful launches.
Requirements:
a few years of experience in operations, management consulting or strategy work (e.g. launching new products or processes, managing or executing projects, or solving business problems with data)
Strong execution skills with attention to detail
Strong Analytical skills: comfortable working with data using Google Sheets and knowledge of SQL
Problem solving: You like to solve problems - you can break down problems in a structured manner and use creativity, data-backed insights, and critical thinking to solve them
Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and promote a team environment where individuals can communicate and contribute freely.
Strong English and Danish language skills (native/professional), with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences
