Job Description

Become a key leader in one of Cork’s most dynamic hospitality teams! The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork, is looking for an Operations Manager to join our senior team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout the hotel. As Operations Manager, you will oversee and support all operational departments, ensuring our high standards of service, safety, and team engagement are consistently met. This is a senior leadership position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about creating a great place to stay and a great place to work.

Job Responsibility

  • Support, guide, and oversee all operational HODs and their teams across the hotel
  • Drive a culture of excellence in guest experience, service delivery, and team engagement
  • Work closely with the General Manager to implement operational strategy and deliver commercial success
  • Lead daily operations, ensuring smooth, efficient, and guest-focused service across all areas
  • Support recruitment, training, and development of team members to build a high-performing workforce
  • Maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Operations Manager or Head of Department within a busy hotel environment (essential)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop diverse teams
  • A guest-focused mindset with a passion for hospitality excellence
  • Commercial awareness, problem-solving ability, and a hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to make operational decisions
  • A collaborative, positive, and adaptable working style
