FedEx is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to join the senior leadership team at our state-of-the-art facility in Netley, Adelaide. This is more than a management role – it is an opportunity to reimagine the morning, afternoon and gateway operations.

Oversee a diverse team of 160 employees, supported by 5 supervisors, across our morning and afternoon shifts
Lead and manage all aspects of the Adelaide facility’s operations, ensuring service excellence and driving continuous improvement
Guide and coach your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, and high performance
Build genuine and meaningful connections with your team, peers, and customers
Requirements:
Proven experience in transport/logistics operations (ideally with a Tier 1 provider) highly desirable
A commercial mindset and data-driven decision-making skills
The ability to translate strategy into action and theory into practice
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance standards
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (preferred)
Demonstrated expertise in planning, implementation, and change management
Experience in budgeting and financial oversight
High-level computer literacy and reporting capabilities
Qualifications in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
A track record of success in high-volume express freight operations
