Operations Manager - National. We are looking for candidates based around the Milton Keynes, Northampton area with regular travel into London. Job Responsibility:
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality service in line with client expectations
Lead a motivated and compliant team, delivering tailored solutions and maintaining high client satisfaction
Manage contract performance, ensuring services are delivered within budget
Monitor financials, identify cost-saving opportunities and prepare reports to keep performance on track
Build strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, addressing concerns, and actively driving service improvements
Prepare and deliver regular reviews with senior stakeholders
Play an active role in the sales process, driving service retention and identifying growth opportunities
Upsell and expand service offerings to existing clients
Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team across all services
Ensure ongoing staff training, performance, and engagement
Maintain the highest standards of health and safety compliance across sites, conducting regular audits and leading safety-first initiatives
Requirements:
Proven experience in managing cleaning operations with a facilities management business
Experience working in a stadia/events environment
Demonstrable success in multi-site and multi-client environments
Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and improve profitability
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
In-depth understanding of health and safety standards within the soft services sector
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Nice to have:
Experience of managing other soft services preferred
Proven sales and retention experience, with a track record of business growth and service expansion
