The Operations Manager of Phoenix Shopping Centre and Altone Park, in accordance with duties identified within the Management Agreement. The priority always should be the health, safety and security of all and the presentation of the property.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively manage the day-to-day activities and ensure that the centre is operating satisfactorily with maintenance and any works being performed with minimal disruptions to tenants and customers
Maintaining the centre to the very highest of standards and minimising the liability risk exposure of the Owner and JLL
Ensure all processes/systems are operated in accordance with JLL Re-Guide and JLL standard documents
Ensure that they are no major risks associated with public liability, fire safety, essential services, non-essential services, the staff, retailers and contractors
Ensure that appropriate security is in place to protect the property, retailers and customers at all times
Regular site property inspections and completing Property Inspection reports
Maintain all plant and equipment to the very highest of standards and in accordance with Australian Standards
Ensure that all operations and maintenance undertaken in the centre conforms to the work place environment health and safety legislative requirements or with any other relevant legislative requirements applicable to works undertaken
Requirements:
Previous experience in the management of the broad spectrum of building services with emphasis on managing retail assets and their systems is required
Degree in Property, Facilities Management or related discipline is highly desirable
Excellent computer skills (proficient in Word and Excel)
Superior communication and client servicing skills
Strong contract management and documentation skills
Ability to prioritise work within tight operational and financial deadlines
Passion for quality – has an eye for detail to make sure the best delivery of services
Is a team player – able to cooperate and work well with others to meet targets
