Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Manager to deliver and expand the charity’s services in the community. There has been a lot of work around creating processes, transparency, policies and financial management. We need somebody that can take the charity further on its journey of becoming stronger, compliant and resilient in the delivery of recovery services.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver and expand the charity’s services in the community
  • Work closely with other health and support agencies to implement the best programmes to support the gap in services offered through NHS and other agencies
  • Manage the operational activity whilst providing support to staff and volunteers, ensuring information gathered from local people has a meaningful impact on improvements made
  • Budget management
  • People management with the support of the Office Manager including staff wellbeing, recruitment, absence management, performance management etc
  • Chairing management meetings maintaining strong governance processes
  • Responsible for reporting to the Board of Trustees and Commissioners regarding the impact the service is having on the community

Requirements

  • You can relate to people with lived experience to best support them including staff and volunteers or service users whilst also be forward-thinking and innovative
  • You have experience in managing projects, teams of lived experience staff and budgets
  • You have strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • You have strong work ethics and a commitment to equity and diversity
  • You have a good understanding of health and social care and ideally of substance abuse and mental health illnesses
