Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of multiple warehouses in Galveston, Texas. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, with a focus on improving efficiency, accuracy, and cost control. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who excels in fostering collaboration and driving organizational success.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the operations of five warehouses, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and cost-efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes and procedures
  • Analyze operational and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems effectively to oversee daily operations and inventory control
  • Promote teamwork and clear communication among staff to achieve organizational goals
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies across all locations
  • Collaborate with leadership to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain objectives
  • Lead efforts to enhance performance metrics and operational efficiency
  • Supervise and mentor warehouse teams, providing guidance and training to improve performance

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain logistics
  • Proven expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and other relevant IT tools
  • Ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse distribution and inventory processes
  • Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards and compliance regulations
