Operations Manager

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for general operational tasks for the agency including, prepares accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, benefits/human resources, software administrator and assists with financial reporting in a federally assisted housing environment.

• Processes accounts payable and receivables
• Prepares checks to pay invoices, records payments
• Maintains check registers and payable files
• Prepares and processes 1099 forms
• Compares purchase orders to invoices
• Enters inventory and asset information
• Processes monthly rent charges
• Pursues collection of receivables
• Maintains Security Deposit accounts
• Month and year end closing functions
• Assists outside auditor
• Prepares bank reconciliations
• Reviews and presents financial report
• Processes payroll
• Assists with IT functions
• Adheres to MHC policies
• Reconciles employee travel/mileage vouchers
• Performs reconciliation of petty cash funds
• Processes daily bank deposits
• Provides assistance to vendors, auditors
• Assists in preparing budgets
• Maintains a system of accounts
• Handles financial correspondence
• Maintains files
• Assists fee accountant
• Assists with procurement
• Purchases office supplies
• Prepares all reports on financial records
• Bookkeeping
• QuickBooks
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Bank Reconciliations
