We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Manager. This role requires strong organizational skills, a focus on accuracy, and the ability to manage risk effectively. Located in Richmond, California, this role leads warehouse operations with full responsibility for safety, regulatory standards, inventory control, operational output, and workforce effectiveness.
Job Responsibility:
Turn warehouse data into clear actions and forward-looking decisions
Use KPIs and trends to spot risks early and prevent disruptions
Align warehouse operations with inventory planning and business goals
Run daily receiving, storage, picking, shipping, and container movement
Keep SOPs consistent across shifts while managing flow and capacity
Find and fix bottlenecks to meet volume and throughput needs
Lead food safety, compliance, audits, and accurate documentation
Ensure teams are trained, certified, and follow procedures every time
Coach and develop employees with fair accountability and trust
Drive change calmly, address resistance, and uphold standards
Requirements:
High school diploma required
5+ years of hands-on warehouse or distribution operations experience
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced operation
Solid knowledge of inventory control, warehouse metrics, and operational processes
Strong data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement experience
Background working in regulated or compliance-focused environments preferred
Additional college coursework or a degree is a plus
