The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and overall performance across assigned offshore and remote catering sites. This role ensures safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery while maintaining strong client relationships, cost controls, and operational standards. The Operations Manager spends a minimum of 50% of their time conducting on-site offshore visits and provides leadership, oversight, and support to site management teams. Candidates must reside in the Southeast region of the country.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee operations, staffing, safety, and service standards across assigned offshore locations
Conduct monthly site visits and complete required operational and compliance reports
Ensure all staff meet PPE, training, and client-specific credential requirements (e.g., Rig Pass, TWIC, HUET/METS)
Support and supervise site managers (Camp Boss/Chef Manager) on staffing, scheduling, training, performance, and cost control
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards, including food safety and sanitation
Partner with client leadership on-site to ensure service alignment with contractual expectations
Oversee inventory management, menu planning, and labor and food cost controls
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for offshore teams
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
Experience managing operations, teams, and compliance in remote or offshore environments preferred
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health and safety standards (ServSafe preferred)
Ability to travel extensively and work in offshore, rotational environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and operational/inventory systems
Ability to work extended schedules, including holidays, in remote locations
