We’re looking for a passionate and driven Operations Manager (Food Services) to lead the delivery of safe, high-quality patient dining and retail food services across a busy healthcare environment. Job Responsibility

  • Leading day-to-day food service operations across wards and departments
  • Driving service quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and NHS standards
  • Managing and developing large, multi-site teams
  • Monitoring and improving operational performance and KPIs
  • Controlling costs, budgets, and resource planning
  • Building strong relationships with clients and hospital stakeholders
  • Leading on health & safety, audits, and compliance

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing food service operations (healthcare or large-scale catering preferred)
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and driving performance
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety, compliance, and operational standards
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and costs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement
