We’re looking for a passionate and driven Operations Manager (Food Services) to lead the delivery of safe, high-quality patient dining and retail food services across a busy healthcare environment. Job Responsibility
Leading day-to-day food service operations across wards and departments
Driving service quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Ensuring full compliance with food safety, HACCP, and NHS standards
Managing and developing large, multi-site teams
Monitoring and improving operational performance and KPIs
Controlling costs, budgets, and resource planning
Building strong relationships with clients and hospital stakeholders
Leading on health & safety, audits, and compliance
Requirements
Proven experience managing food service operations (healthcare or large-scale catering preferred)
Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing teams and driving performance
In-depth knowledge of food safety, compliance, and operational standards
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and costs
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement
