CSP requires an Operations Manager to manage all commercial elements and the complete account management of operational delivery at The O2 site; providing and maintaining a high standard of service to the client and key customers. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering an excellent service and will work closely with the venue operations team to ensure all requirements are delivered, on time and to budget. Working within the fast-paced events sector, this role will require both flexibility and a high level of commercial awareness and operational dynamism to optimise the team performance.
Job Responsibility:
Operational planning, on-site delivery and post-event conclusion
Account management of The O2 contract, including budget management and financial reporting
Budget management and financial reporting, analysis of data and plans in order to identify opportunities for growth and propose new operational strategies
Develop and nurture strong, effective, professional relationships with the client and other key operational contacts to ensure expectations of CSP are being met at all times
Operational planning, delivery and review for all allocated events
Provide line management to all reports with a focus on proactive mentoring, coaching, development, and team succession planning. Ensure that CSP’s and AEG’s objectives are effectively communicated
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience of the events or comparable industries and strong commercial awareness
Ideally, experience in managing multiple projects, work streams and/or conflicting priorities within a highly paced environment
Able to communicate clearly across field-based teams, departments and stakeholders
Excellent IT skills – strong in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
A flexible approach to working hours
IOSH/NEBOSH qualified
Traffic qualifications such as CSAS/12D, Chapter 8 are desirable
