A growing construction services organization is seeking an experienced field leader to oversee operations at a newly expanding Capital Region location. This individual will play a key role in building out the local team, managing day-to-day field operations, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Job Responsibility
Lead daily operations for a small but growing field office, with responsibility for scaling the team over time
Manage multiple active job sites, ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and execution of work
Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and resources to support active construction projects
Oversee site logistics including coordination of work zones, access, and project-related safety requirements
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and local agencies
Ensure all field operations adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and workforce planning to maintain efficiency and quality
Conduct regular site visits to support crews, troubleshoot issues, and maintain progress
Utilize internal systems and standard tools (Excel, project tracking software, etc.) for scheduling, reporting, and billing support
Assist with hiring, training, and developing field staff as the operation grows
Requirements
3–5+ years of experience in construction, field operations, or project management
Background as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Project Manager preferred
Proven experience leading field teams and coordinating multiple job sites
Strong understanding of construction workflows, scheduling, and resource planning
Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, field-driven environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to work across field teams, clients, and regulators
Demonstrated focus on safety, compliance, and risk management
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally to job sites
